Career and Workforce Education (CWE) is the link from the classroom to the workplace. As such, CWE programs must blend academically rigorous content with relevant, job-specific skills and infuse a core of understanding that life-long learning is essential to competing in the global marketplace. As technology continues to change our world, educators, to meet the needs of the 21st century workforce, we have a responsibility to follow suit.
As a USF doctoral student my goal is to promote the advancement of Career and Workforce Education through in-depth study and research. I believe in Career and Workforce Education personally as a graduate of CWE programs, and professionally for the economic future of our country.
